Saint Sebastian was a Christian healer and martyr, tied to a tree and shot full of arrows for their beliefs. That said, they did not die from their many wounds, and continued to practice their faith until finally clubbed to death
by Roman emperor, Diocletian.
First off, major thanks to Danica Phoenix for modelling! I love this new piece. It's Pride season, and too often I see the 'T' in LGBT+ queer spaces cast aside or forgotten about. So there's my focus, beyond my obvious personal aesthetic. Transgender people have it hard; I have it hard as a trans woman living in a patriarchal society... We are often seen as trophies, tokens, desperate objects to be used as someone's fetish or experiment. And everyone, -everyone- wants to focus on our private parts. I will admit right away that I am fine with my bits, and I'm happy that the men in my life don't make everything about it. But I am an outlier in this way, and 9 times out of 10 the world
will focus on this specific part of our minority. Can I touch it? Can I suck it? Do you want to keep it? Do you like it? There is so much more to us... than that.
